What we collect and why.
We collect the minimum we need to run the bootcamp, show you your progress, and fix things when they break. No selling, no tracking across other sites. Almost everything sits in the EU.
What we collect
We split data into two buckets: anonymous (before sign-in) and identified (after sign-in).
- Anonymous UUID. A random ID we generate the first time you visit, kept in a cookie so we can stitch your visits together while you browse without an account.
- Course progress and quiz results. Which courses you opened, which checkboxes you ticked, which quizzes you passed.
- Opt-in choices. The cookie categories you accepted and any product opt-ins you selected (for example marketing email).
- Email and name. Only after you sign in. Used to identify your account, send transactional email, and personalize your certificate.
Where it lives
Every service is EU-hosted unless flagged otherwise. The table is the whole list.
Sub-processors
We use two sub-processors. Both are EU-hosted for our data and bound by their own DPAs.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS). Hosts DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, Athena. EU region (eu-west-3, Paris).
- Auth0 (Okta). Authentication and login identity only. EU tenant region.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it. Nothing rolls up or expires on a schedule. If you want your data gone, see the next section.
How to delete your data
Email lennert.demey@techwolf.ai from the address you signed up with. We confirm within 72 hours and purge within 30 days. Once it lands, your profile will also expose a Delete my data link that does the same thing in one click.
Cookies and tracking
Four categories, matching the toggles in the consent banner. Necessary is always on; the rest you choose. Every change is recorded server-side so we have an audit trail of what you agreed to and when.
Necessary
Required for the site to function. Used for progress tracking,
session management, and recording your consent choice itself
(an anonymous UUID stored in bc_id so we can attach
the consent record to your browser). Cannot be disabled.
Functional
Enable enhanced functionality and personalization, like language preferences and UX improvements.
Analytics
Help us understand how visitors interact with the site. Aggregated, opt-in.
Marketing
Track visitors for lead generation and marketing automation. Off by default.
